Installed, the shim raises the dovetail so older battery packs clear the helmet as they slide on. Dovetail mount shown for clarity, not included.

Overview

Fits between the ANVIS dovetail battery pack mount and the helmet to add stand-off. Some older dovetail battery packs catch the helmet at their edges as they slide onto the dovetail, which makes them hard to install. The shim lifts the dovetail away from the shell so the pack slides on easily.

Not needed with the Wilcox Aeronox battery pack. Shim only; the dovetail mount in the photos is not included.
